One can not get through the Insurance and InsurTech landscape in March without mentioning Bolttech…twice. Bolttech announced a partnership in the Philippines with PayMay in which they launched Buyer Protect, an online shopping protection product.

Bolttech also made a strategic investment into Sherpa as part of a collaboration to expand Sherpa Score internationally.

Swiss Re and dacadoo announced a partnership to help SwissRe enhance its MyWellLife product offering, incorporating lifestyle factors to help give a more holistic view for risk assessment purposes.

We noted that NTUC Income announced that they are now a corporate partner of Plug and Play’s InsurTech program in Asia Pacific. We discussed the ‘outsourcing of innovation’ as a positive sign for the ecosystem as a whole and a potentially big benefit for end-users.

We also noted that EaseMyTrip and Toffee Insurance announced a partnership as travel begins to come back globally.

Don’t forget about TDI’s “World Digital Insurance Awards“…which has a slightly extended deadline for entry and voting.
