CancerAid, an Australian based company, developed a cancer-care support platform designed to help cancer patients to manage their treatment and expectations. The company’s mobile platform provides cancer patients and their caregivers with information specific to their illness and a treatment plan, coaching support, a digital journal, a database for their medical records and access to a global community of people fighting the disease. The program enables patients, particularly those served by community hospitals, to identity and engage resources and support to optimize their own outcomes from primary cancer treatment.
