The CareVoice is a Shanghai-based health InsurTech startup that focuses on making healthcare more human while using technology. The Company is already working with 15 insurance clients in China and Hong Kong.  After completing the Ping An Accelerator, the startup just closed an eight figure USD Series A funding round in August, making it one of the best-funded startups in the healthcare system in Asia.

Sebastien talks about their latest announcement launching The CareVoiceOS, the first healthcare operating system for insurance companies. The system allows insurers to design and deploy tailor-made products and services and allow a high degree of customization. It allows insurers to implement value added services like gene testing, for example, to an existing healthcare plan.

Sebastien gives insights into the healthcare insurance market in China and explains how The CareVoice focuses on the mid- to high-end insurance segment. He also touches on The CareVoice’ vision to build two core businesses. The first and primary business in which the Company is already operating in, is offering end-to-end health tech solutions to insurance companies. For the future, the startup is aiming to become a tech driven MGA offering tailor-made insurance products to customers.
