While all agree that partnerships with ecosystem players and startups can mean massive opportunities and access to new customers, they also bring lots of challenges for legacy insurers.

Pak Hendra gives insights into PingAn’s partnership and ecosystem strategy. In their home country, PingAn has built a large and very successful ecosystem with AutoHome and Good Doctor. Internationally, their Global Voyager Fund is investing in startups around the globe and via OneConnect they offer their tech solutions to insurers and banks in Southeast Asia.
